Weave Leno Lace with Deborah Jarchow!

This beautiful scarf is woven with the soft and silky Bambu 7, creating a drapable, luxurious accessory.  The colors really pop by using a dark color to border each section.

You’ll learn to use a pick-up stick making the dark threads twist, creating an effect reminiscent of stained glass.  

We have three color options to choose from!  
Sweet Melon - Pumpkin, Coral, Honey, Carob, and Ginger

Fabric description: Plain weave with Leno Lace

Yarns: Bambu 7, 100% bamboo.

Equipment needed: Rigid heddle loom; 10” weaving width; 7.5 or 8-dent reed to achieve 15/16 epi; 1 shuttle; 1 pick-up stick.

Finished Dimensions:  one scarf 9” x 66” plus 8" twisted fringe.

Instructions:  The 10-page pattern with complete instruction including diagrams and photos is included with your kit.

Beautiful scarf

I am very excited to weave this scarf. The class with Deborah Jarchow was very helpful. It helps me to see how a project is construct es, especially if it is a new concept for me. The loom is warped and I will begin weaving today. It seems like it will be a relatively fast project. I love the bamboo yarn- so soft and silky.
