This weaving kit includes all the yarn needed to weave this Thirsty Waffle Weave Bath Set that was designed by Sharon Alderman for Handwoven May/June 2010.

Waffle weave and cotton go hand in hand to produce this thirsty, cushy, crinkly bath set.

This set includes enough cotton to make two washcloths, two hand towels, and two bath towels using three separate warps.

Weave structure: Waffle Weave

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 and 10/2 unmercerized cotton for hems.

Note: We are supplying 8/2 Cotton in place of the 6/2 Cotton in the original design. The same epi and ppi can be used when weaving this kit.

Equipment needed: 6-shaft loom; 44” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 1 shuttle; 2 bobbins

Finished sizes:  two washcloths 10" x 10", two hand towels 16" x 26", and two bath towels 32" x 49". 

Instructions needed: Best of Handwoven, Waffle Weave Technique Series or Handwoven May/June 2010 from Long Thread Media. 

Note:  This kit includes all yarns needed to weave this towel set.  The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
