Tropical Sunrise Towels

Take a vacation to the Caribbean without leaving your loom with these cheerful rigid heddle woven towels. Blending colors in the warp and weft creates fabric with a diamond pattern and a cheerful glow, almost like watching a brilliant sunrise at the beach.

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Tropical Sunrise Towels, designed by Michele Marshall for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Summer 2025.

Weave structure: twill

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons in Jade, Duck, Gold, Light Orange, Orange, and Dark Navy.

Equipment needed:  Rigid heddle loom; 16” weaving width; two 12 or 12.5 dent reeds; 2 stick shuttles.

Finished size: two towels 13" x 21" hemmed.

Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Summer 2025, pages 73 and 79-81.

We have wound the weft yarns on two cones, making it easy to wind your shuttles double strand. We make it easy!
