Tropical Twill Stripes Towels

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Tropical Twill Stripes Towels that were designed by Karen Tenney for Long Thread Media.

Weave a set of tropical towels in white plain weave stripes alternating with more closely sett 3/1 twill stripes in the warp.

Weave structure:  twill

Yarns: 8/2 Aurora Earth 100% cotton

Equipment: 8 or 6-shaft loom; 10 dent reed; 19" weaving width; 1 shuttle

Finished size: four generous sized kitchen towels 16" x 25.5" each (***note: the pattern specifies two towels on 2.75 yard warp but we've supplied enough yardage to make four towels on a 5 yard warp)
