Twill Block Towels
These beautiful towels feature a design by Jane Patrick, expertly woven by Judy Steinkoenig, and drafted by Madelyn van der Hoogt.
Utilizing twill blocks, the piece showcases captivating optical effects created by varying the widths of the blocks. Woven "as threaded" (or tromp as writ), this project is a one-shuttle weave, ensuring a quick and efficient weaving experience.
The interplay of wider and narrower blocks adds depth and texture, making this towel not only functional but also a stunning addition to any home. Enjoy the art of weaving with this dynamic and engaging design!
