This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Twill Block Towels that were designed by Gloria Martin.

Twill block weaves usually require a minimum of eight shafts (four shafts for each of two blocks) but you will love these towels woven on just four shafts.

This project is the perfect way to weave three different towels on one warp: a Checked Towel, a Ladder Towel and a Bordered Towel.

Fabric Description: 3-end, 2-block twill.

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 100% unmercerized cotton.

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 18" weaving width; 10-dent reed;

Finished size: Three hemmed towels, 15" x 30" each

Instructions needed:  Best of Handwoven, Techniques Series: Twills on Four Shafts from Long Thread Media for complete instructions. This is a special 35 year anniversary issue!

Note:  This kit includes all yarns needed to weave these Twill Block Towels.  The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
