Show off your weaving and sewing skills with this colorful tote! The box bottom design is simple to sew, and the square bottom makes it excellent for carrying weaving tools and supplies to your next class.

This project was designed by Michele Marshall for Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025. 

Weave structure: plain weave 

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton. Linen 14, and 8/4 Cotton Rug Warp.        

Equipment needed:  Rigid heddle loom; 24” weaving width; 12 or 12.5 dent reed; 1 shuttle.

Other supplies needed: double sided fusible foam stabilizer, sewing thread, fabric for lining. (See pattern in magazine for details.)

Finished size: 18" x 38" bag fabric. Finished bag size 11" x 6" x 15" tall.

Instructions needed: Easy Weaving with Little Looms Spring 2025, pages 32 and 38.

This kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this tote and inkle strap. The pattern can be found in the magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
