We've also added easy to follow instructions for sewing your tote bag and adding the straps. This project is designed for a beginning weaver and sewist.

Weave structure: plain weave
Yarns: Bamboo Bloom Handpaints and 8/4 Cotton Rug Warp
Equipment needed: Rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom; 12” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 1 shuttle. You will also need a sewing machine and matching sewing thread.
*This kit includes the yarn, straps, and lining fabric that are needed to weave and assemble your tote bag.
Finished size: one tote bag approximately 9.5" x 13" plus 15" straps.
Instructions: A PDF pattern download will be emailed to you. The instructions include weaving, sewing, and construction for your bag.

The fabric is beautiful and was a pleasure to weave on my rigid heddle loom. I added interfacing, boxed corners, interior slip pockets and a button/loop closure. The result is a very professional looking tote bag.
