Winter Wonderland Towels
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these towels that were designed by Jodi Ybarra for Weaving Through the Seasons Towel Collection.
Weave a winter wonderland of brilliant, brisk wintry tones capturing the season in all it’s splendor.
These towels can either be woven in plain weave or you can choose to use the pick-up technique for a textured version.
We suggest trying both weave structures for a set of towels that are similar yet not quite the same.
Fabric Description: Plain weave or texture weave
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 100% unmercerized cotton.
Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 19.6” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 2 stick shuttles; 1 pick-up stick
Finished Dimensions: 16” x 27” for plain weave towels; 15½ x 26” for textured towels

Easy to follow directions with one pick up stick. The aurora cotton is a dream to weave with and the texture makes them more absorbent. The directions are for plain weave and one with a pattern. I did both in the pattern. The pick does both sides of the pattern. Washed really well too.
