This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Cotton Placemats in Natures Colors that were designed by Betty Lynn Davenport for Handwoven, September/October 1991, pp. 58, 93-94

Such a rewarding project that can be woven on either a 4 shaft loom or a rigid heddle loom using a pick-up stick.

These placemats make an especially appropriate project for beginning weavers using any type of loom.

Yarns: 8/4 Cotton Rug Warp

Equipment needed: 2 or 4-shaft loom with 14" weaving width; 12 dent reed; pick-up stick if using a rigid heddle loom.

Finished size: eight hemmed placemats 11 3/4" x 17 3/4" each (pattern makes four placemats but this kit makes eight placemats)
