Four-Sided Fringe Napkins
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Four-Sided Fringe Napkins that were designed by Liz Gipson for Handwoven for her book Handwoven Home.
This project allows us to take a deep dive into fine threads and how sett affects drape and color, explore a new finish—four-sided fringe—and flex your colorwork skills. Easily adapted to any weaving width.
These Four-Sided Fringe Napkins create a fine fabric by using two heddles on your rigid heddle loom.
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cotton
We have made similar yarn substitutions for the 8/2 Cottolin yarns from the original pattern with our Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons.
Equipment needed: rigid-heddle loom with 16″ (40.5 cm) weaving width, two 12-dent rigid heddles, boat shuttle with 5 bobbins or 2-5 stick shuttles.
Instructions needed: This Four-Sided Fringe Napkin pattern is available only in Handwoven Home by Liz Gipson. You will need to purchase this book if you don't already own one.
