Glowing Embers Scarf

This oversized scarf feels soft as silk against your skin and has the supple drape and rich hues that we all love.

The houndstooth design is easy to weave, adding a simple style to this plain weave fabric.  The twisted fringe lays nicely and washes without worry of tangle or unraveling.

You will also love the environmentally friendly and soft as silk fiber of Tencel that is woven alongside Zig Zag Boucle yarn.  Tencel adds depth and shine, while the boucle adds just the right amount of texture.  You won't be disappointed with this blend of yarns and vibrant color!

Weave structure: houndstooth plaid

Yarns: Tencel 8/2 and Zig Zag Boucle

Equipment needed: rigid heddle or 4-shaft loom; 15" weaving width; 10-dent reed; 2 shuttles

Finished size: one scarf 14.5" x 74" plus 5" fringe.
