This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Chenille Shadow Weave Scarves that were designed by Jean Korus for Handwoven, Jan/Feb 2012, pages 40-43.

Chenille and Shadow Weave are perfect partners!  The relative thickness and velvety texture of chenille yarns give scale and drama to the pinstripes and outlines of shadow weave designs.

This kit provides the warp length to make three scarves so you can experiment with different treadling orders. You won't want to stop with only three!

Together, chenille and shadow weave make a luxurious, soft, drapable scarf with infinite potential for pattern.
