Happy Birdie Towels

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Happy Birdie Towels that were designed by Jodi Ybarra for our Baker's Dozen Towels Collection.

Weave a set of bright, cheery towels with blocks of texture and plain weave.  You will experience color-and-weave throughout the entire towel along with blocks of texture for added interest.

You will also experience the magic of tracking which is what sometimes happens when weaving a plain weave fabric.

Weave Structure:  plain weave and texture weave blocks

Equipment needed:  Rigid Heddle Loom (2-shaft); 22.6” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 5 shuttles

Warp & Weft Yarns: 8/4 Cotton, Bamboo Pop, Monte Cristo, and Aurora Earth 8/2

Finished Dimensions:  two towels approximately 17½” x 26”
