Leap of Faith Waffle Weave Scarf

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this Leap of Faith Waffle Weave Scarf that was designed by Coreen Hartig for Handwoven May/June 2012.

The deep cells of waffle weave create a beautiful texture while the plain weave stripes between the waffle weave sections give a ribbon-like look.

Weave Structure: Plain weave and waffle weave

Yarns: Tencel in Fire variegated and Burgundy solid for warp and Bambu 12 China Red for weft.

Equipment Needed: 8-shaft loom, 12" weaving width; 15 dent reed; 1 shuttle; 1 bobbin.

Finished size:  7" x 70 1/2" plus 5" twisted fringe.
