Pacific Waves Scarves in Bambu & Tencel (8-shaft)
Weave two scarves that capture the constantly changing colors and movement of the Pacific Ocean!
The sumptuous appearance of ocean colors are so vividly displayed.
Weave structure: Collapse weave structure is used with the first scarf creating pleats or furrows in the fabric producing a scarf measuring 4" x 67 1/2" plus 4" twisted fringe. Then on the same warp, weave a plain weave scarf that measures 8 1/2 x 70" with a 4-inch twisted fringe.
Yarns: Tencel and Bambu 12.
Equipment needed: 8 shaft loom; 10" weaving width, 15-dent reed; 1 shuttle; 1 bobbin; blunt tapestry needle
