Puget Sound Shawl
Designed by Sue Anne Sullivan for Handwoven Fall 2026.
Take your weaving on a journey to the Pacific Northwest with the beautiful Puget Sound Shawl. Inspired by the ever-changing landscape of water, sky, and evergreen forests, this design combines rich, moody tones with lighter shades in a bold geometric plaid.
The twill structure creates an eye-catching pattern as the colors shift and intersect across the shawl. Woven with Bambu 7, the finished fabric has a gorgeous drape, silky softness, and just the right amount of texture.
With its dramatic pattern and beautiful movement, the Puget Sound Shawl is a project that is as rewarding to weave as it is to wear.
