This weaving kit includes all the yarns and weaving cards needed to weave this Purple Tablet Bag designed by Gudrun Polak for Handwoven March/April 2016.

The tablet-weaving or card-weaving process creates the warp-twined fabric for this beautiful bag with attractive patterning.  The body of this pouch is made of bands in two patterns, Chevron and Diamond.  The strap, which also forms the sides of the bag, is a longer, narrower band woven from a different pattern draft.

The 8/4 Cotton used provides you with a nice, sturdy bag that will hold your personal items with care.

Note: Weaving Cards come in sets of 25 cards but 26 cards are needed for this project. We will include the extra card with this kit and weaving card bundle.

Weave structure: Tablet weaving
