Chili Pepper Towels

These towels are HOT!

Light your senses on fire with the colors of red-hot chili peppers. Like other members of the red family, chili-pepper is dramatic and exciting. It is associated with exotic tastes and cultural diversity. It's just what we need to spice up our lives!

The pick-up technique in this pattern is a 3/1 weft float variation.  There are many, many ways to achieve warp and weft floats, but this four-step variation is one of my favorites because it's easy to remember the four easy steps and you can leave the pick-up stick in place throughout the entire project. 

There are three beautiful color options to choose from!

Weave Structure: textured weave

Yarns: Caterpillar Variegated Cotton; Organic 5/3 Cotton; and Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton.

Equipment needed: Rigid Heddle Loom; 21” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 2 shuttles

Finished Dimensions: two or four towels 17" x 23" hemmed.
