Waffle Weave Stripe Towels

This pick-up technique creates towels that look beautifully complex, but are surprisingly simple to weave. Once you get into the rhythm of the waffle weave pattern, you'll be on your way to finishing a stunning set of towels in just a few hours.

Fabric Description: texture weave

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons in a dark tone, a light tone and natural for great color effect.

Equipment needed rigid heddle loom; 23" weaving width; 2 stick shuttles; 1 pick up stick; 10-dent reed.

Finished Dimensions: each towel 17" x 28" hemmed.
