Progressive learning for a new rigid heddle weaver.

I found the kits to be excellent motivation to learn new skills with each kit. The added knowledge built upon itself in a user friendly way. The cotton yarn is wonderfully absorbent and easy to work with and the colors are beautiful. I will definitely subscribe to the four shaft kit when I get my Dorset loom up and functional.

Year of Towels

I am a new weaver and basically self taught. Working on each months towels has been a great education and has really helped my weaving skills. The towels themselves are beautiful and much to my surprise are incredibly absorbent...much better than anything store bought. I would recommend joining any of the towel clubs. My only suggestion to cotton clouds would be to explain in the instructions the best way to make color changes in both warp and weft. Creating additional videos to go along with the instructions would also be helpful to us beginning weavers.

A year of learning in a fiber desert

I was a new weaver living where there are no stores locally to shop supplies or receive support. This club made it easy to build skills with my loom and experience how colors play together. The guesswork was taken out so I could learn and still have a beautiful end result.

Towel of the year club

As a new weaver I enjoyed the learning challenge of each kit. I liked the variety offered- both in colors and designs. Any questions I had were promptly answered with words of encouragement. Even though I have much to learn each kit helped me become more confident in my weaving. I recommend it.
